Pastor Pat, our Lead Pastor, is originally from West Virginia. Pastor Pat served as a youth pastor for many years locally, straight out of Bible college. After a time, the Lord called him out of the area as a  lead Pastor in Utica, NY.  In 2006, the Lord opened the door for him to come back to the area as the Lead Pastor at Evangel and has been here ever since. Pastor Pat loves the WNY area as he's an avid fisherman, cyclist, and sports enthusiast. He leads the congregation with his wife, Heather, and they have 3 grown and married children. They enjoy visiting them in various states and spending time with their 5 grandchildren.

Pastor Mike has served as our Associate Pastor since 2019. With a heart for ministry, Pastor Mike assists in various aspects of pastoral care and contributes to the spiritual and mental well-being of our congregation as a licensed mental health counselor. He and his wife,Danae, have 3 children-Kaitlyn, Cole and Aliya.

Pastor Jason joined the Evangel team in December 2024.  Originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, Pastor Jason is a self-proclaimed "Lizard" but says he is up for the challenge of Buffalo weather! He has a heart for community and discipleship for our teens and young adults. He also loves the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Renée Hallam has served as the head  of our worship department since 2021. She was a church music major at The University of Valley Forge and spent 14 years as a certified music teacher in public schools. She is married to her husband Geoff and they have four beautiful daughters. 

Gianna is no stranger to Evangel Assembly as she has been a part of the community for most of her life! Gianna started taking an active role in the kids ministry for many years prior to becoming the Children's Director in 2023. She has since completed her Bachelor's Degree from Liberty University in Religion:Evangelism, she is eager to spread God's word to our kids and globally! She has a missions minded heart and hopes to serve in Colombia one day as a missionary.

Mary O'Connor has served as our Office Manager since 2004. Mary plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the church. With exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, Mary provides valuable support to the entire staff, helping to facilitate effective communication and administrative tasks. Mary is happily married to her husband Tom with whom they have 2 grown sons and 3 grandchildren.

Lesvia Diaz, our Accounting and Finances Manager has served our church since 2016.  She manages our church's financial resources, contributing to the effective stewardship of our church's resources.

Todd Wambsganss, our Facilities Manager has served here since 2015. Todd strives maintaining a welcoming and functional environment for our church community. They diligently oversee facility operations, ensuring that our spaces are well-maintained and accessible, providing a comfortable setting for worship services and activities.

Roger Nixon has faithfully served as Evangel's Custodian since 1996. Roger takes great care in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our congregation and guests. Roger's commitment to service contributes to the overall well-being and comfort of our church community.
