Food Pantry
Our food pantry covers Williamsville, Amherst, part of Cheektowaga, Alden, Akron, some shut-ins, and Evangel church members. The Evangel Food Pantry receives and distributes over 85,000 pounds of food annually from just the Food Bank, not including all other donations which are many.
Our Food Pantry staff unloads the pallets, stocks shelves, helps clients around, helps them out the door sometimes loaded Christmas bags, and blessed over 9455 people. We serve people every week of the year except Christmas and sometimes even do deliveries that week. We allow emergency pick-ups Monday through Friday unless there is a holiday.
