Evangel is a missions minded church. Welcome to the Missions website and find out about how Evangel supports missionaries around the world, in the USA and locally in Western, N.Y.

God has a heart for the lost and so do the people of Evangel. We support a total of 90 missionaries / ministries. Check out the missions wall in the main foyer of the church. Each year the people of Evangel make a faith promise to support the missionaries and ministries represented on the Mission wall. By God's provision and the faithfulness of God's people at Evangel, we have Never failed to send the support we promised to our missionaries. The Missions Committee coordinates activities to inform our congregation of how the money we give help our missionaries spread the gospel. We pass out Missions Prayer Cards and have missionaries come to share at our Sunday Service and at home visits. Our Annual Pie Auction raises money for Missions. In October we focus on missions through Mission emphasis activities including the Kids Parade of Nations, the International Share-a-dish dinner and Home Visits with several mmissionaries, a special prayer service with our visiting missionaries and an inspirational missions message. Evangel also sponsors several short-term missions through the year. Check out the bulletin and listen for announcements to participate in these life-changing trips.

The Missions Committee meets once a moth. Members are Rich Adams, Andy Andersen, Margaret Couzens, Doug Doores, Lori Klenke, Mary O'Connor, Marylon Peacock, Tammy Jo Powley, Karen Ray and the Chairperson is Kathy Sapienza.
